Cindy Ady, MLA for Calgary Shaw, was sworn in as Minister of Alberta Tourism, Parks and Recreation on March 13, 2008. She joined fellow cabinet ministers and Premier Ed Stelmach (below) at a media conference following the swearing-in ceremony in Edmonton.

An Election Surprise?

Cindy Ady reacts to news of her re-election as MLA for the Calgary Shaw Constituency on March 3. She handily retained her seat, joining 71 Progressive Conservative colleagues in the Alberta Legislature. Cindy celebrated that evening with supporters at her election headquarters in Midnapore.
